FIRST HALF STARTS: Will the Rams be on national TV soon? Let's hope so! I know there's alot to be said for admiring nice defenses, (ie. Cowboys vs Giants) but I believe other cities would like to take a peek at our high-powered Offense, rather than just reading about it. It appears as if it's only a matter of time before we get seen by everybody (can you say "playoffs?")

Here's an interesting Stat: if you take JUST the points the Rams scored in the FIRST HALF and compared them to ALL the points our opponents scored for the WHOLE GAME here's how the results would shake out:

Rams 17 Balt 10
Rams 28 Atla 7
Rams 21 Cinn 10
Rams 28 SF 20
Rams 28 Atla 13

This is a pretty good start, eh?

CAROLINA COMIN? Is Carolina the team we should watch out for? They are sneakily good. Although they only have 2-3 record, they've lost some close games to 'supposedly' good teams.

* They only lost by 2 points to Jacksonville (a 5-1 team).

* They only lost by 2 points to Washington (a 4-1 team).

* They beat the 49ers in their own back yard.

* They've improved every week on Offense (point-wise) except one:

1st week: scored 10 points.
2nd week: scored 20 points.
3rd week: scored 27 points.
4th week: scored 36 points.
5th week: Bye
6th week: scored 31 points.

And, unlike the Saints team, which has lost some games due to Iron Mike's Iron Head, Siefert is sly like a fox. I'm  as leary of him as any coach in the league.
