I'm sure y'all have dissected the game and the Rams to death, but I am left with some thoughts (and a hangover) after yesterday's debacle in the Dome:

* The Rams offense is one of the 2 or 3 best I've ever seen. Marshall Faulk is simply a Man.

*Warner showed much better pocket presence than I expected---very cool under fire.

*Your defense has some holes that could be exploited by a real QB/offense. But with that offense, they only have to be adequate, and they're better than that.

* You better get a real kicker ASAP---ask the Vikings about how important the kicking game is in the playoffs.

* Remember the 1st Saints/Rams game? Immediately after Brien missed a chippie field goal and the game completely changed? Sunday  when Warner escaped from 3 different linemen to convert that 3rd down pass to Proehl, I turned to my buddy and said "That's it, they're headed for the tank."  Sure enough, the Saints never made any plays after that. Time for Ditka to go---they fold as soon as it gets a little hot.

* Did the Rams ever punt? Our 3rd down "defense" is unbelievable.

Congratulations---I'll see you next year (though I'll probably drop in  every once in a while through the playoffs).

Once we jettison Ditka and pick up a QB and some defensive studs, these games will be more entertaining. I promise.
