Saw the new helmet...it's a
deeper blue with the Vegas gold...and looks great. The horns on the sleeves are out. There
will be a stripe with St. Louis on it on the sleeve, and some sort of secondary logo,
similar to the Viking sleeves with their Viking head logo. They'll probably go with three
different pants, gold, white, and navy blue, to give them different combos. Also, the
numbers will be a "shadow" white, similar to the shadow on New York Ranger
numbers. Because of the secondary logo selection the final decision hasn't been sent in to
the league, but they Rams got an extension. As for Sears, three different people told me they were going to cut him for a waived DT on Monday anyway. They think they upgraded to Grasmanis. Figure on Carpenter coming back when McCleon is healthy, with Crosby being sent packing. Don't be surprised if Watson is a Friday inactive and Hodgins is dressed. Carter is back, he's doing fine. Agnew wants to play Sunday. Looks like McCleon won't. Everyone else is healthy, including Holcombe. Despite the loss of Green, players are VERY confident, more so even than the front office. Keep an eye on London Fletcher Sunday. He's from Cleveland, is a BIG Browns' fan, and really wants to take it to Modell's team for Art moving the Browns. Vermeil says he wouldn't trade Bruce and Holt for any pair of receivers in the NFL. Should see more balls go Roland Williams' way Sunday. He'll be a big part of the offense.
