How will the Rams finally lose a game?

My thoughts are this. Someone will come out and wear out the D with something akin to what the Rams did to Atlanta. I would guess a big bruising back would be a part of it. Whoever does it is going to have to do it controlling the clock agains our D...

and the O is going to have to fall apart. It's actually quite possible too. The Rams have relied on passing to control the clock and game and in that there is a bad day waiting to happen. A windy day with dropped passses. Someone finds a rush scheme that works and picks on Warner in the pocket. Heaven forbid Ike get's hurt and the team sorta can't get their act together quickly enough in the aftermath. Warner just has a bad day. There are endless possibilities for failure

but...

So far the O has looked about as good as they come. Most other teams that I've watched so far are mere pretenders. That Cards Niners game? Their QBs looked like they'd been rubbed with bacon and dropped in a bear pit.

Look at all the lengthy drives where the Rams are just pummeling the opposing D for minutes. It's been Baron Von Warner's Aerial Circus out there and a Falcons article I read outlining their problems with Bruce as a threat and decoy gets to the root. Martz WANTS teams to key on Bruce because at that point the game is his. There are just too many other targets. Don't key Bruce?  You lose then too since he's rarely stopped with one on one coverage.

I have long said that Bruce is one of the most valuble players in the game when healthy in terms of exactly this sort of stuff and his abilty to impact a team's record. To bad that over the past few years he's not been able to prove it. This year I hope it happens and that he remains on the field. I made a general prediction of 9-7 or so for the team but also said that a healthy Bruce could push that up a couple a games...

They will stumble at some point. They might even just get beat,  but if they remain healthy I think this team can make a go of it with just about everyone they will face this year. I don't see any outstanding Ds on the schedule like Tampa or Miami that could possibly throttle the Warner and The Rev Ike's Barnstorming  Stadium Revival tour...
