Our DBs---supposedly our Achilles heal---had a great defensive sequence last Sunday [against New Orleans].

We had just gone ahead 29-12 and it was "must score" time for the Saints. They had a good drive going and were moving quickly upfield.

SEQ.#1---Saints hit TE Cleeland and he's running loose up the sidelines for a big gainer. Bush comes over and delivers a devestating blow that knocks Cleeland's legs out from under him, and he goes down real hard and is shaken up on the play. (I think this is the play that also bruised Bush's ribs.)

Man, that took guts to make a hit like that.

But it's a first down for the Saints at thr Rams 35yd line.

Seq. #2- First down and the Saints go for it. One on one coverage, Bly vs Poole on a long bomb down the sidelines. Bly is with him step for step then at the end of the play, he turns around elevates about three feet in the air and bats the ball down. A brilliant athletic play! I want to see more of Bly out there.

Seq. #3- Second down. McCleon chucks his man at the line of scrimmage to throw off a timing pattern,  then he beats the Saints reciever to the ball and picks it off.

Game, Set, Match.
