Rock the dome.

Rams have 6 more road games and if they win the remainder of their home games are garanteed a 10-6 record. Is that great or what? The whole beauty is the margin of victory.

That margin says that we will win half of our road games easily and we could easily win the other half respectably. The  Titans are not capable of beating the Rams because they do not have a system that is conducive to beating an agressive and efficient team. They are not built to compete against aggressive offenses but instead thrive in games such as that Monday night yawner,  ATL and PIT. For them that is a barn burner. Far too many AFC teams are conservative and run oriented. A natural evolution of the cold weather environments.

Don't be fooled by the Jag game either. The Jags are not as effective offensively as they were in past years. Partly because they lack offensive versatility and the element of surprise. Teams have found that they can beat the Jags by taking away the big play. The Jags strength is their defense.

No team seems to be able slow us down because we are constantly attacking the opponent.

This is where DV really shines. Not just DV but any good coach who has been around as long as DV excels when they are ahead. Why?  because they know how to coach in front after years of experience.

Not very scientific but it has to be taken into consideration. Think about it. The good coaches alway were successful in winning the games they should win.

I'll never forget what we did to Jim Zorn and Seattle when they were an expansion team.

Knox,  whom DV said he admired,  was merciless to our weaker opponents and he did it while being relatively conservative.

I credit DV for helping the team keep winning in perspective. DV is a lot like George Allen in his attention to detail and stats. He has sold the team on the stats that a playoff team generates. Wins at home. Beating teams that they are supposed to beat. He has kept them from peaking ahead of time, and he knows how important his role is, and he thrives on the pressure.

DV kept calling for a 3rd year and he got it. He reminded everyone more than once what kind of mess he came into and what kind of messes he's successfully dealt with. My hats off to him. He takes credit for his errors and so I should give him credit for his success---and we are a success.
