There has been absolutely no talk of a Lyle trade by anyone at Rams Park.

(1) They don't really have a quality replacement. Bush hasn't even worked at SS, let alone FS, and Coady isn't close.

(2) As far as cap savings, there would be none. I checked with Jim Thomas, who has all of the team's salary info...and we both figured the Rams would take a cap hit of $25,000. He's in the third year of a five year contract, has a cap number of 1.175 this year, but the club would have to take a $1.2 million bonus hit to move him. Looks like a scam report."
