SUNDAY'S GAME. Sunday at the Nationals in West Covina here in So Cal we had the privilege of watching the Rams win their first NFC West Title since 1985 with former USC Heisman Trophy winner and former Ram Charles White, Number 33.

I just want to say how great it is to be a Rams fan, and congratulations Rams,  and Thank You Charles for  putting up with us fans this morning when you didn't have to. Thanks.

THE SEASON. Last January I would have fired Vermeil, quite frankly, I viewed the man as a total screw up.   I believe John Shaw would have fired him too, if not for the buyout clause. As of now, I  think that Vermeil has done a wonderful job this season and has redeemed himself from the first two awful seasons he suffered through.

I don't give a damn about the strength of schedule---I believe this team would have done well with a socalled tougher schedule.  The Rams are playing good football, period.  People are so obsessed with strength of schedule they are ignoring the strength of the team.  This team is doing exactly what you would expect a contending team to do to this type of schedule. They are making a mockery of it and running away and hiding with the best record.  So, by, routing the teams on this schedule week in and out, they are prooving that they are a contending team. A dominant team and a elite team.

You have to watch the team itself and its level of execution.  This team is hitting on all cylinders, that is why so many in the media now are picking them to be in the Super Bowl.

KEVIN GREENE. I've lost alot of respect for Greene over the years    and he was one of my favorite Rams at one time.

Ray Bentley mentioned that Greene had said before the game that he thought Kurt Warner had never taken a real good shot and that he wanted to test him by giving him a real good shot to see how he would react. Well, Ole Kevin gave him one and I think Warner reacted pretty well.

Kevin definitely led with the crown of the helmet and I think he should be fined again. He was fined for a helmet to helmet hit on Chris Chandler just this past week. Obviously 7,500.00 is not a strong enough deterent to guys like Greene. Besides I bet the club pays his fines.
