The Week of March 18

March 18: Rafe and Alison are sleeping on the floor of the barn, all curled up in their nekkid glory. Rafe wakes up and says "my wife" and says that he likes the sound of that. He wishes that it could go on forever. They kiss. Alison says that she's never been happier, and she wants to shout out that she is his wife, and he is her husband. She says that she wishes that their friends had been their to celebrate it with them. Her friends and grandmother would have loved it. Rafe suggests that they have a big wedding, he could meet her parents. Alison doubts that because her father will probably get called away on business to London or something and her mom loves Paris this time of the year. Rafe says that they can't be that bad. Alison says that they aren't terrible people, they just shouldn'd have had children. Emotional, Rafe says that he wishes that they could see her, the way he sees her because then they would never leave her. With Alison sleeping, Rafe uses his cell phone to call someone. He says that he's a good friend of Ali's there's something he needs to do for her.

March 20: Rafe and Ali arrive at the Recovery Room calling each other Mr. and Mrs. Kovich. (kinda cheesy IMO in comparison to the fabulousness of the rest of the show). As they are kissing, Jamal comes over. Alison notices the bruise on his face, and he says that he needs to talk to her, its long overdue. (Jamal is really calm) Alison stutters a bit, but Rafe offers to leave. With Rafe gone, she regains her voice and asks what happened to his face and lip. Jamal says that Jack did it to him and it made him realize what an ass he was. He apologizes to her.

Rafe comes over to Casey and ask how she's doing. He asks why she has that key around her neck and she says that she doesn't know. She just knows that she's attached to it. On the mention of Ricky, Casey says that doesn't anything about him, she doesn't know why she's there or what she's supposed to do. Breaking into tears, she says that she just wanted to be alive again. She tells him to stop looking at her, and he says that its okay for her to be upset. She admits to Rafe that she told Ricky that she loved him, but he didn't believe her. She even told him that she was dead! She told him the truth, but he just laughed at her. Thought she was the same old freak like before. Casey can't do anything, its all over. She wasted all her time and made things worse. Rafe tells her to make the most of her time left, don't give up on herself. Make him listen! Time is running short, don't leave with any regrets. Rafe tells Casey to live these last few days, not to be afraid, she needs to try. His cell phone rings and he asks if things are all set up and says that they will be there soon. Casey asks what he's up to and Rafe says he took his own advice

Alison tells Jamal not to apologize to her and he says that she was right about everything. As soon as Valerie died, he was so angry he took it out on the world, but mostly on Alison. She says that its okay but he tells her its not. He says the one thing that was clear was that she faught for them. He let her down, and he had no right to that that. Alison is now crying, and Jamal tells her that she was the best thing that ever happened to him, and not to think for a second that he ever stopped loving her. Sometimes when he looks at her and Rafe he wishes it hadn't played out the way it had and he could be the one she loves. Alison says that she does love him, but Jamal says that its not the same and even he can see that. She tells him that he is her first love, and he wishes her happiness. He just hopes that Rafe knows how lucky he is.

Alison tells Jamal that what he said to her meant a lot. Jamal says its the beginning of them being friends again. Rafe comes over and apologizes for interupting. Jamal says he was heading out and tells him to be good to her, she deserves it. They shake on it (Jamal does a "homie" shake, which confuses Rafe LOL!) He leaves, and Rafe and Alison begin smooching hands, and he pulls out some money and puts it on the table. He gets her dressed in her coat and says that what he has in store is better than a surprise. (wow! These Rali and A/J scenes are enough to make a girl torn! ;-)

March 21: We're brought back to the barn, as Rafe tries to surprise Alison, but she guesses by the scent of flowers. He unblindfolds her, and says that he had a little picinic planned and maybe they could take a nap, stay the night... again. She says that she thinks she a little over dressed. He doesn't think so, and leads her into a fully decorated barn (with tables and chairs) and asks if she's ready for a ho-down. Alison is stunned by how beautiful it is. Rafe tells her that it means a lot to him that she loves it. Turning her to let her see her surroundings, he starts to kiss her ear and then her neck, but Alison smells something. Its her favourite food! She says she's starving, and Rafe says that she can't touch it until company comes. Alison wants to know who it is, but he says that's the real surprise. She wants a hint, so he says that in their special place he promises her that she will be surrounded by all the love she deserves.

Rafe starts to panic, the guests should be there by now. Alison tries to sneak a bite, but Rafe stops her. He says he's going to go and check. While he's gone, his cell phone rings and Ali picks it up. She recognizes the voice on the other line and asks how they got the number. Her voice gradually falls and she says she understands and to tell "them" she says hi. Choked up, she hangs up the phone, as Rafe returns. She says that she knows what he tried to do, and he loves what he tried to do, but her parents aren't coming. He apologizes saying that he was so sure. She knows he meant well, but they really don't have time they never have. Rafe says that her father had promised, and Ali says that had she known she could have told him that they would never keep a promise. She tells him to forget about it when he starts to get upset about how they treated Alison. She reminds him of the promises they made in the barn, as sort of man and wife (who are sort of married) they are supposed to share a first dance. She turns the music on, and they dance and Alison says that she feels so loved.

Lightning flashes as they dance, and Rafe picks up his watch. The hand has moved to 1 week. Alison gets upset, but Rafe tells her that everything will be okay as long as he has her in his arms.

March 22: Rafe and Alison wake up on the floor of the barn, and Ali remarks that she loves waking up where good dreams happen. She thanks him for inviting her parents. It worked out the way it was supposed to. Alison wants him to come with her so he can meet her family. She would like him to meet the one person who's always been there for her.

In the Barrington attic, Alison starts to search under the drop cloths and Rafe wonders if the relative is kept hidden. "I knew the Barringtons were cold, but this is taking it to a whole new level" (LOL!) Ali says she's looking for the portrait of her great grandmother Rebecca. She's getting frustrated because she can't find it, and is certain it didn't sprout legs and walk off. Alison continues to frantically search for the portrait and won't let Rafe calm her down. She says she will breathe as soon as she finds the painting. The painting is too important to her. She remembers having gone up to talk to Rebecca whenever her parents did something she didn't like. Her great gran would talk to her and they would spend all afternoon, sharing secrets and getting advice. She was happier with her and closer to her than anyone else in the entire world. Rafe comments that she has a vivid imagination and Alison insists that it was real. She was so special to her. Rafe decides to help her find it and he goes searching and actually discovers it. Alison jumps for joy. They pull out the covered portrait of Ali's great granmother (to the 3rd power). She uncovers the portrait and Rafe is stunned, horrified.

Rafe continues to stare at it, he can't believe it. Alison remarks that its like she looks right through you, and she is so beautiful- just like she remembered. The camera pans to the painting and the face is the same as Paige's.
