Designs of the Interplanetary Military Alliance

All combative products used by the Interplanetary Military Alliance are built by the United Armouries corporation.

The Interplanetary Military Alliance HIT/AC, or Heavy Interstellar Transport/Assault Craft, is one of the largest spacecraft designs ever to go into production. About three kilometres long, one high and one wide, the HIT/AC carries 20,000 personnel, 18,000 of these being combative personnel of some sort, in relative comfort, with the according facilities for taking care of these personnel. The craft is heavily armed, with four turrets mounted with SHLMAGs, or Super-Heavy Linear Magnetic Accelerators, with a 10,000mm bore, capable of slamming into enemy craft and obliterating decks with ease. As well as that, there is a full complement of plasma weaponry, missile launch platforms and defensive laser turrets.

The HIT/AC carries a complement of 500 starfighters and 500 starbombers, along with several heavy support craft and lander transports. In this way, the combative protocol of the IMA, which often involves assembling rapid strike forces and dropping them into combat, can be performed with ease, with the starfighters and starbombers providing tactical support and the lander transports easily dropping squads of Terrestrial or Interspatial Marines and their according equipment and vehicles onto surface.
