Evil forces were at work, attempting at all costs to prevent the O2olly tournament from going ahead. First of all, the Hounslow location became unavailable, and then 3 players caught mysterious diseases (one had Strawberry&Cream fever, the others, Scholastic syndrome) as well as one being sent in a time warp and arriving late, but with the help of organiser, Oliver Pearce, a quick change of location as well as a minor reshuffling of teams, the tournament still went on.
