Beady eyes unblinking stare. Always watching, always observing, always my constant guard. Strutting proudly preening her tail she only serves as a warning to the wise. Today's fashion chick is tomorrow's leftovers. Bragging of his crow, proud of his crown, my little friend is a fraud. Seeming sure, obviouisly terrified, he turns from his dream. I am the court jester making fun of all in sight never told to stop. She must be this bird for how else could she talk so without nary a breath? Eyes gleaming, full of passion. Stripes of warning, colors of pride. I hear his warning growl I tremble not, for his wrath is not against me. Twitching her nose, scared in the corner; a hyperactive rocket of old reduced to a trembling fluff by the appearance of her tiger. |
