Frantisek and Marie Vistein and their children Jan (John), Frantisek, Mary, Joseph, Vaclav (James), Vojtech (Albert), and Anna immigrated from the Tabor region of Bohemia to Chicago, Illinois in the 1870s and 1880s.
The 3 Stejskal sisters apparently came from the Tabor region of Bohemia. Marie married Joseph Kabalac. They had 5 children, 2 of which emigrated to Chicago, Illinois. Josephine married Frank Danek and they came to Chicago in 1873. Rozalie married Frantisek Vistein, and they came to Chicago in 1876.
Jan Benedix, son of Vilhelm Benedix and Mariana Kanda, immigrated from Pisek, Bohemia to Chicago, IL in 1878. In 1880 Jan (or John) married Marie Herman, also from Bohemia. They had 3 children, of which only Frank John (born 1 October 1883) survived past infancy. Marie apparantly died in childbirth and in 1885 Jan married Marie Jelinek. They had 3 children, Eleonora (Lena), William Anton, and a girl who died in infancy.
Luigi Antonio Ricci, born January 3, 1883, from Campomaggiore, Basilicata, Italy, and Maria Manola, born August 2, 1883 in Italy, were married in 1904. They came to Chicago, IL in 1906 and 1908. Their children were Angelina, Rose, Sarah, Fernando Angelo (Fred), Anna Domenica, Angelo Antonio, Mary (Dolly), Frank, Tony, and Elene.
Roch (Rock) Dzik was born in 1847 in Russia-Poland. In 1876 he married Rozalia, born in 1851. Their children were John, born in 1880, Malgorzata (Maggie), born about 1884, and Stanislawa (Stella), born in1888. They came to the United States in 1890. On September 23, 1907 Stella married Konstanty (Charlie) Porta, born January 21, 1878 in Levonia, Poland. Konstanty came to the United States in 1902.
Czeslawa (Chestine) Zabinski was born in Stawiski in Russia-Poland on June 26, 1890. Her parents were Frantiszek (or Alex?) Zabinski and Mary Arendt. On November 7, 1909 she married Jozef Tyska, who was born March 16, 1886 in Drozdowo, Russia-Poland. On November 14, 1912 Jozef arrived in the U.S. along with Czeslawa's brother Alex, who was born May 3, 1893 in Stawiski. Czeslawa joined them a year later, arriving on August 3, 1913.
