Frantisek Vystejn was born in 1780 in Zbesicky in the Tabor region of Bohemia. On September 5, 1802 he married Rozalie Kosobudova, born December 14, 1873 in Repcic, Bohemia.
Frantisek Vistein, son of Frantisek Vystejn and Rozalie Kosobudova, was born June 16, 1818 in Zbesicky. His tombstone and the death record index have his death date as 26 July 1883, however his wife is listed as a widow on the 1880 census. On November 18, 1845 he married Marie Novak, born in December of 1820, daughter of Vaclav Novak (born in Zbesicky) and Veronika Mikes (born in Tetrebic, Bohemia). She died on October 2, 1903. They apparently immigrated in 1880, and with them their youngest daughter, Anna. They came from the Tabor region of Bohemia. The families of their children are as follows:
Jan was born in July of 1846. In 1870 he married Anastasia Pivec, born Aug 1852. Their children were John, Mary, Anastasia, Frank, Rosanah, Bohumil, Anna, Rudolf, James, and Edward. They immigrated in 1876.
Frantisek was born in 1849. He married Rozalie Stejskal, who was born in Dec 1850. Their children were Joseph, Marie, Anna, Frank, Frantisek, Emilie, Rose, Rose, and Emilie. They immigrated in 1876.
Mary was born in Sept 1853. In 1870 she married Vojtech (Albert) Luznicky, who was born in April of 1950. Their children were Frank, Vojtech (Albert), Joseph, Vaclav (James), Anna M., Louis Prokop, George H., William R., and Lillian M. They immigrated in 1878 or 1879.
Joseph was born in March 2, 1856. He immigrated in 1876 or 1873. In 1979 he married Josephine Hurt, born September 7, 1860, immig. 1868. Their children were Bohumil Albertus, Regina Johanna, Otokar (Otto) Frantisek, Ferdinand Jiri, Victor, Milton, and Helena.
Vaclav (James) was born in Jan of 1859. He most likely immigrated in 1877. In 1880 he married Anastasia Zamrzly, who was born in August of 1861, and immigrated in 1877. Their children were Anastasia A., Alois Vaclav (Louis James), Emilie Rose, George Rudolf, Lillian Christina, William R., Frank, Anna and Jan.
Vojtech (Albert) was born in 1861. He immigrated in 1878. On the 6th of Aug 1882 he married Rozalie Kabelac, born Mar, 1862. Their children were Anna and Rose Magd.
Anna was born in Feb of 1869. She immigrated with her parents in 1880. In 1886 she married Anton Soldat, born June 1864, immig. 1882. Their children were Bohumil, Joseph, Maria, Victor, Frank, Anna, George, James, and Amelia.
Alternate spellings of Vistein are Vystejn, Vistejn and Vistain, plus the above with a W. Westen and Westein are variations.
