| Androgynous is a term that applies to gender identity, appearance and many other things about a person. It kind of puts you in the middle of things. It can also be defined as gender bender and gender blender. It is like a merger of the characteristics of both sexes. Quite frankly, if you ask me I don't think that we should be seperated in to genders and categories. We are who we are and that is they way it should be left. How come I identify myself as androgynous? I identify myself this way because i feel as though i am neither male nor female. I am in between, in the middle. If you look at me from a female perspective I am butch a dyke, but if you look at me from a male perspective I am very feminine. So i believe that androgynous is the best way to describe me, both male and female. |
