Enrollment/Dis-Enrollment
Enrollment:
-To be eligible for enrollment for enrollment and continuance in
the JROTC program, the following requirements must be met:
-
Citizen
of the United States
-
At
least 14 years of age
-
Formally
enrolled as a student in the high school
-
Physically
qualified: Parent or guardian must complete and sign the
"Statement of Health" form and return it to the Senior Army
Instructor
-
Morally
qualified: Possess honesty, integrity, self-reliance and sense of
responsibility. Must not have any conviction by a
civil court (other than a minor traffic violation).

Maintain
an acceptable standard of academic achievement
-
Accepted
for enrollment or continuance by the Senior Army Instructor and
approved by the school principal
Dis-enrollment:
-Normally, cadets will be dis-enrolled, as determined by the Senior Army
Instructor and with the concurrence of the principal, when the following
occurs:

Withdraws
from school
-
Demonstrates
an inaptitude for leadership development
-
Fails
to maintain an acceptable academic achievement
-
Shows
undesirable traits of character
-
Frequent
absences
-
Physically
unfit
-
Other
reasons as determined by the Senior Army Instructor
