Final Fantasy Logs: Irvine
Players Thoughts:
Heading into July, I was fairly comfortable with playing Irvine at this point. His relationship with Selphie had taken off, and he'd been given orders to assasinate Kefka, so I got to play his inner turmoils and indecisions. Really, the boy has no business being a sniper, but hey, it seems to be the role everyone wants him to play.
I also began exploring some new avenues for my blue eyed cowboy. Though I began playing him canon'ly, all characters grow and change with time. So, I began entertaining the idea that eventually Irvine will get used to being a sniper. He's begun practicing a form of emotion control dubbed 'the void'. I didn't explore it much in this month, besides a few hints at it in his roleplay. Stay tuned to next month's logs for more details! I also gave him a phobia of Guardian Forces to balance this out as an Irvine without some oddball fear or idiosyncracy is a dull cowboy indeed.
As for Selphie, what can I say, she's totally reverted her cowboy. Sometimes I can't help but have him flirt a little with other girls, I can't see him totally reverting from his bad habits of old. In general, however, she's roped him in.
