The first two pictures is the studio of Jolly Roger International.  The first audio console used was the Sparta A-20.

It was later replaced by a Broadcast Electronics console for the stereo broadcasts. The station used 3 cart machines, one stereo record/player. Most programs were recorded to a HI-FI VHS VCR for playback on the air.

It was really fun to try and keep all the R.F. out of the audio when you are running 5000 watts. The station mike was a RE-20. To monitor the modulation we used a Heathkit modulation scope. Aphex Studio Dominator and an Aphex Compellor were used to process the stereo audio.

From the audio processing equipment the audio was sent to stereo generator. A Kenwood TS-940 that was highly modified to accept the IF signal from the stereo generator was used as the exciter to drive the 4CX5000R linear.
