30: According to the L'Arc~en~Ciel official site, alongside the release of the band's Shibuya Seven days LIVE DVD, "7," they will release DVD versions of all their old videos.

The site is also advertising TETSU69's official 2004 calendar. For more information, please visit the TETSU69 official site.

Silent Mukimpo speaks! Regarding "MOON CHILD," SM had this to say: "I found the action to be very corny. It was awful! To me, the movie was about friendship, growing up and how things change, with a vampire--straight out of Anne Rice's novels!--thrown into the mix. I found the other two discs more interesting."

28: At Silent Mukimpo's request, I bought "MOON CHILD." I don't know what the standards are for actors in Asia, but everywhere else, numero uno is that an actor can act. You need only a few minutes into the movie to realize that a major contention against it is that the two main stars, namely Gackt and Hyde, cannot act. Well, of course, what else can one expect from musicians who, despite having no previous experience, suddenly throw themselves into such a project? The American equivalent of this turkey has to be "From Justin to Kelly." I felt certain that if Hyde kept this up, his reputation either as a musician or "would-be" actor would be irreparably damaged!

The plot is some cross between triad gang activities and "Queen of the Damned." Try imagaining that and you've got "MOON CHILD!" However, I did not like the way it was filmed. The rest of the actors were mediocre in quality. I certainly did not feel anything when each of the original "MOON CHILD" gang was killed off. I was too busy squirming in my seat. Essentially, this movie is not selling any new story in terms of immortality and its curses and the value of life. I don't mind Hyde portraying himself as a vampire, but I think he needs some acting lessons and better scripts than this one (and better co-actors!).

Aside from that headache, Hyde apparently has a new album and book out on December 3. For more information, please visit Hydeist.

20: We changed the index movie to accommodate for Tetsu's upcoming birthday. As the band leader of L'Arc~en~Ciel, his birthday must be celebrated!

On a personal note, Silent Mukimpo kindly made a nice L'ART poster for me. We also got tickets today for Matchbox Twenty's October concert at Madison Square Garden! Yay! With their recent hits, "Unwell" and "Bright Lights," Matchbox Twenty keep proving that they are definitely one of the bands worth watching. Rock on!

06: Ken is advertising his latest Fernandes guitar model in the L'Arc~en~Ciel official site. For details, please visit the official site.

Ken's solo band, S.O.A.P., is releasing their third mini album called "high." I'm assuming that's because the band's always "high," or at least, that's what they seem like to me. Personally, I don't find them to be a "serious" band, so I readily dismiss them. But for those who want to know more about their latest releases, please visit the S.O.A.P. official site.

Hyde will have a new single called "Horizon." Out on November 6, it will be succeeded by a tour the following year from February to March. For more information, please visit Hydeist.
