About The Racer
| Born Ronald Howard Urquhart on July 31, 1951, Ron has been racing for over 20 years in various cars. He works as an auto mechanic near his home in Piscataway, NJ. Ron's wife Laura is a former racer herself and his daughter an upcoming racer ?!? Ron's hobbies include -- what else? racing, mainly at his two local tracks: Atco and Old Bridge Raceway's. Ron's career as a stock eliminator racer has earned him a number of awards, including class wins; world records, and his infamous back-to-back national event titles of 1989. Ron also is the other half of Urquhart & Simmons Racing, in which he and Sterling Simmons, Jr. race all over the east coast. |
