Saiya-jin InfoA Saiya-jin is a member of the Saiya-jin race.(Or maybe it's Saiya race? If anyone knows for sure, please email me and tell me! ^_^;) The Saiya-jins originally lived on the planet Plant, along with the Tsufurins (sp?) also known as the Tuffles to us dubbies. The Saiya-jins killed off most of them, and took over their technology and the planet, which they renamed Vegeta, after the Saiya-jin king Vegeta. The Saiya-jins were employed by Freeza to kill the inhabitants of other planets. Teams of people were sent to the planets with stronger races, while 3rd class infants were sent to the weaker planets to kill the inhabitants as an oozaru.The Saiya-jin were divided into classes by strength at birth and/or blood. 3rd class was the weakest, and those classified as 3rd class at birth were sent off to other planets, as said before. The elite was the highest class, reserved for the very powerful, or those with royal blood. The distinguishing marks of a Saiya-jin are:
Half Saiya-jins may lack the black hair/eyes and Saiya-jin tail. Human/Saiya-jin mixes may also have a greater strength potential than pure blooded Saiya-jins, but they need to train to fully bring out thier power, which is why Gohan is so strong, but Goten and Chibi Trunks are not as strong. Goten and Chibi Trunks did not get as much training or battle experience as Gohan did. Quarter Saiya-jins may also lack the Saiya-jin tail and coloring, and their strength is not as great as either the full blooded and half Saiya-jin's. |
