A cool possessed, social personality, whose house is always overflowing with distant relatives, friends, and strays, and whose cupboards are stacked with all manner of sundries and supplies bought at a discount.
A quiet-eyed person whose gentleness is surprising in the face of what has been endured. Ox people have almost supernatural patience and dependability. They are calm, methodical and dutiful.
May be hard to live with, but guaranteed to ward off fire, thieves and ghosts, long considered in Eastern cultures to be the three principal disasters of a household. Possessing a recklessness matched by a love of life. Needs to bask in the limelight and be the centre of attention.
Love peace more than anything else in the world. They are sensitive to the interests of others, are artistic and are among the luckiest of the animal signs. Rabbits are formidable negotiators, perhaps because they loathe a good fight. But if they have to fight, will dos so with courage and determination.
Energy, egotism and eccentricity are all Dragon characteristics; they are the zealots of the Chinese calendar. Eager and enthusiastic, the Dragon represents energy in all its forms. Although visionary and proud, nevertheless guileless.
Combine the sensual intrigue of a Mata Hari with the wisdom of Confucius. Often psychically inclined, deeply religious or even mystical. But not ascetics - they have a wide and potent hedonistic streak, expressing itself in a love of luxury and beauty.
Cheerful, freedom-loving and almost always irresistible. Liberty and independence are their motivating forces. This often inconveniences others since adhering to a schedule or timetable is difficult. Highly perceptive and fast thinkers.
The most altruistic of the animal signs. Sheep are easily recognised by their gentle and compassionate ways. Shy and sincere, they give the impression of being very mild-mannered. But not a pushover; like the Rabbit, Sheep get what they want out of life more obliquely than some of the other animals.
Gamblers, speculators and risk-takers. Impish and inventive, they have great power to inspire and motivate others, assuming that power is not frittered away in quantity, rather than quality pursuits. Never at a loss for words, solutions or jokes.
Above all else, Roosters dislike disorganisation. They like to administer everyone and everything around them as they manage themselves - perfectly. Always precise and efficient, Roosters are critical to a fault and are never gifted with an over-abundance of natural tact. However, they have a great sense of humour, fantastic social talents and a talent for handling other people's money.
Most distinguished by a sense of justice. Dogs are loyal, straightforward and kind. They are vociferous and noisy in righting the world's wrongs. With a powerful and intelligent mind, nevertheless has very little patience for the subtleties of mixed motives and dilemmas. Although with a black and white world view, Dogs are an astute judge of character.
Honest, simple and sturdy, one of the most natural, easygoing personalities. They are popular, well-liked and have a cheerful outlook and earthy sense of humour. Seeking harmony above all else, they let bygones be bygones and never hold a grudge. Boars have a genius for attracting money and help from others and their resoluteness, cheerful attitude and resilience are sure to help them through the most trying circumstances.
