| In Virginia Beach, VA Lisa Quinn and thousands of other runners, race for the cure. After a long thirteen mile race, Lisa Quinn is greeted by her daughter, Meadow. Meadow was diagnosed with NF in 2001. She is now three years old and doing well. Lisa Quinn continues to organize fundraisers, arranges a local support group, frequents the Children's hospital in Philadelphia, PA as well as being a wonderful wife and mother to her two girls. Lisa is planning her first support group in Dingmans Ferry, PA. This will be an informal "meet and greet" and will include beverages and snacks. All are encouraged to attend. Lisa and the group will be there for you. For up-to-date happenings send your email address to [email protected]. You will be added to a mailing list for this local chapter of NF support groups. |
