and culture ... "xatra"

Monalish,
You have been putting lot of efforts,
great!
Wish I would stay away criticizing
hardworking persons, ...
I am afraid there are Vaishnava
spiritual concerns on your writing style, it would be great it you would
take care accordingly while you present to Foreigners/outsiders, see my
previous email below.
Do you know that GOI in year 2001
registered satra/satriya?
Now GOI offers scholarships on satriya
too. Spiritual groups debated on name issue for about a year. Such
Vaishnava names will not/never change and by writing different you
dilute, may be you should accept sarana ...
Last Saturday
I attended the meeting and carried Hasthir Kanya DVD with me. Thought
I would give it to you, or otherwise to Xujal/Xatyajit
(names
using your style) ...
(as I see you
and Xujal/Xatyajit are lead (cultural program), but none of you appeared
in the meeting) - pl let me know what you want me to do.
I do have some rare images of Vaishnava
age including a map of Kamrup but not really big image.
Appreciate you (and others) for all
your (their) hard work!
Take care,
Rabin

Subject: Assam Month - Material
for posters
Please use Sanskrit style for all
Vaishnava names that may appear in any flyers/posters etc. sutch as
satra. Also guranjana is called sankaradeva. Vaishnava
names use Sanskrit styles in Roman writing first created during 1780s
in Barpeta and Madhupur.
Especially, Vaishnava faith believers
call
them Vaishnava
only i.e., not Hindu and we do not have
this word Hindu
in any Vaishnava scriptures, including Sanskrit. Hoping
you do not add this tag to Vaishnava if you plan outlining the Vaishnava
philosophy, ...
Kind regards
Rabin Deka
