06.00 - 07.30. Morning is broken!
A typical breakfast is required since most people won't be feed again until lunch. The breakfast consists of:
*A few slices of bread, typically "Kneipp" or "Grov" (medium or rough/dark);
*A glass of milk, orange juice or a cup of black coffe;
*A selection of the extencive range sliced meat from pork, sheep, horse, goat, beef.
*"Norvegia" (white) cheese and some brown cheese (various range)
*Liver pate, typically "Stabburets" yellow can.
*Jam and chocolate spread for the kids.

07.00 - 09.00 Work starts
Industry at 07.00, businesses and schools at 07.30 to 08.30. Shops, banks and public offices at 09.00 or 10.00.

11.00 - 12.00 Lunch break
30 minutes break to eat your packed lunch, typically with brown cheese.

15.00 - 16.30 Work ends (luckily)
Rush hour to get home to make the dinner. The telephone network is overloaded of parents that has not planned who to pick up the kids or who to stop by for groceries.

16.00- 17.30 Dinner time
You
do not knock on peoples doors, or ring during this time. Residental areas are filled with the delicious smell from the dinners.

16.30 - 17.00 Regular shops close

18.00 Childrens TV
Traditional time for the childrens programmes at NRK, the national broadcasting company. Lasts until 19.00 with programmes for older children between 18.30 and 19.00. Saturday 18.30 magazine for 8-14year olds. Immortal with names like "halv 7" (half past 6) and "Midt i sm�r�yet" (in the middle of the butter).

18.30 - 19.00 News hours
TV2 and NRK's half hour news release eachothers. Starts over again at 21.00

18.30 - 20.00 Organisation events

Every evening activity starts around these hours. Usually last for 2 hours.

20.00 Shopping centres close

21.00 Food stores close, movies starts on various channels at tv.

21.45 Popular series/films starts on TV2
Ally McBeal, Chicago Hope, X-files, etc.

23.00 The best programmes starts/ Bedtime.
