QVSC Competes in Manitoba

Front row: Yolandi Lombard, Natasja Lombard		 Five QVSC athletes traveled to Asessippi Ski Area in Manitoba to compete in a two day GS race.  Asessippi is a great area to have a prairie GS race and they are very accommodating to race teams.  Everyone had a great time this weekend and our athletes posted some very impressive result against Manitoba's best.  Following are our results.

January 27-28, 2001
First In-Province Sask Cup Races at Timber Ridge
Members of QVSC's Alpine Race and Development Teams traveled north to Big River to compete in the first slaloms of the Sask Cup Race Series.  Despite missing those who were away at speed camps, our remaining athletes posted some great results and came away with several medals and ribbons, including a sweep of the J1/J2 Women's medals on Sunday.  Following are the QVSC results for the various classes.
