Programs:
At each meeting, there is a program centered around quilting. Throughout
the year., Saturday workshops are offered, some with nationally known
quilters, and others with local quilters or members.
Guidelines & By-Laws:
By-laws are provided to all members.
Small Quilting Groups (Satellite Groups):
Several satellite groups meet at various times and locations during
the month. This is a great opportunity to get acquainted and work on
quilting projects (click on the Satellite Groups button for more information).
Challenges & Swaps:
Throughout the year, a variety of challenges and swaps are held in which
members may choose to participate:
- Challenges: Guild members are challenged to make a specific block
or small project.
- Swaps: Guild members are shown specific blocks. Those interested sign
up, then make and swap those blocks following established guidelines,
color schemes, and timelines.
Community Service Projects:
Each year, the guild chooses a community project they wish to support,
such as making and donating quilts for Project Linus and decorating a
tree for the Festival of Trees.
Biennial Quilt Show:
Our biggest event is our biennial quilt show, held in early spring (even
years). It includes the display of our Guild members' wonderful quilts,
vendors, and demonstrations. Members collaborate to make a raffle quilt
for each show and sell raffle tickets to help raise money to support the
Guild's activities for the next 2 years.
If you are interested in joining the Guild, contact the
membership chairperson for more information (click on Officers &
