Rules: International Blind Sport Federation (IBSA; www.ibsa.es) is the governing world body for goalball. Goalball rules and other information are available on-line. Note the 2006--2010 rules omit the required diagrams.

Primer: Reading the rules alone does not enable a game of goalball -- for instance, it is not played on grass, and the ball is not kicked! A goalball primer was written (last updated in September 2002), How to play... Goalball: An introduction to the basics (PDF 56K). This provides a variety of information for players, parents and coaches. I have to update this for the current (2006--2010) rules, etc., but you may wish to use it as an outline.
