This heat pipe feeds the CPU fan with fresh air from an external case fan straight through the pipe. Which causes an instand drop in CPU temperature if you don't have a lot of air circulation in your case. Its secondary function is to catch incoming dust in the inside of the folds. Since its made of shrinkeled aluminium any dirt or dust will settle immediatly. A half funnel (everyone thinks its an ashtray) to be fitted on the outside of the power supply also comes with it, which provents hot air ejected by the PSU fans to be sucked in by the case fan taking in air.

To me it was not really of advantage using it, because i have a good air circulation in my case already. In fact it brought the CPU temperature up by 1 or 2 degrees, still though it brought down the CPU fan noice and it looks cool. COST: 18yoyo's
