When are LAN events announced?
At least 3 weeks before the date of the event, but usually 4 weeks.

All details, including details on the competitions, will be viewable in the news section.
How do you finance Midlans, do you have a sponsor?
The only way of financing the site, effort and prizes is the LAN entry fee.
Can I bring a friend to the lan and if so is there age restrcitions?
If you have signed up and paid the entry fee for your place at a LAN, you may bring a friend. There is no age limit for spectators, but you will be responsible for him/her.
Can i bring a console to a LAN?
No, you have to bring a Personal computer or a Laptop.
Is alcohol and smoking allowed at the lans?
Yes, but only if you are 18 years of age and carry an ID with you to prove it. (see more about this in rules and regulations in LANS)
Will spectators be allowed to bring a spare PC or Laptop?
No, unless the person bringing the spectator is playing on the persons machine that brought him/her.
What sort of competitons will be held at the lans and will there be prizes?
The competitions will be first person death matches and there will be prizes. See for more detail in the news section about 4 weeks before each LAN.
If i do not have any means of transport, how do i get to the event?
There is a Train- and Busstation near. If heavy goods (like PC or monitor) are brought you can take a Taxi from the station to the LAN.
How often are Midlans LAN events held?
Ones a month, starting in september again.
How do i become a member of this site?
To qualify you to become a member of our computer community you need to have attended at least one Midlans LAN party.
Ones i have become a member what advantages do i have?
As a member you can send us pictures of your computer or Laptop and as you wish we will put them on the web site, also your computers specifications, MODS and benchmarks can be viewed on the site.
