FAMILY & GENEALOGY RELATED LINKSl
I live in Lexington, Massachusetts with my husband Steve and two cats Mercy and Quincy. Our daughter Sue is a newspaper columnist and writer living in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The Steve in this picture with me is not Steve my husband, but my third cousin, Steve Kauffman, who has kindly supplied me with much of my Kauffman genealogy. The picture is also one of the more recent pictures of me.Pictures are necessary, but the aborigines are correct in their belief that every time a picture is taken, you are in danger of having your soul stolen. The proof of this is in reviewing past pictures of me and noticing no resemblance of myself due to my having been possessed by different souls taking my place at different times.

FRIENDS:
My friends are lovely people who are intelligent, charming,  and treasured by me!
Family Genealogy is an obsession - Time flies when I start searching - This is an evil hobby - I have noticed that I am punished by gaining weight from concentrating so fiercely. Some names I am researching are Minger, Du Val, Rector, Rickard, Kauffman, Hunton, Moss. I like solving cross-word puzzles. I read, study t'ai chi, knit, play bridge, and belong to many genealogy related organizations as well as two choruses.. I work the daily jig-saw puzzle and exchange solving times via e-mail  with my friend Arlene Billmeyer now living in Florida.
FAMILY:
My sister Merrie Minger Manbeck lives with her husband Bill in Venice, Florida. Merrie is a card pro, an expert bridge player, enjoys cruises, history, politics, and reading.  Merrie and I are the oldest generation of our birth family now alive.

Our daughter Sue lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In addition Steve and I have some sons  acquired from student exchange programs who are still part of our family: Volker Mohr, living in Germany, Markko Jantunen, living in Finland, and Peer Kjaer with his wife Linette, daughter Pernille and son Lasse, all very dear to us. Martin Schedlbauer from Germany now lives in Sudbury Massachusetts with his wife Cathy, children Jonathan and Iris.
I am left handed, stubborn, 65 years old, retired, a Unitarian Universalist, and a mathematician.  Steve and I have been married for  33 years now.  I was previously married to Eugene R. Grassler who now resides on the Cape with his wife Ellie.
Stephen Carl Vorenberg, my husband who continues to up with put me.
