Ithaca, NY - 517 E. Buffalo St. - April 28th, 2003 - Had a Party at our (new) house. Location and Space Dawg played. Rock. Buy a Location shirt, they look cool. And also buy a space dawg...they're much better than...whatever the alternative is. We played Fuck the ROTC for the first time in a LONG time. People liked it, good show, I'd do it again if every show were gonna be like this. As it is, we're working on new songs, for real this time...should have about 2 more done by next time. Ithaca, NY - Ho Plaza, Cornell University - April 22, 2003 - I forgot to show up so I don't know what happened. But don't worry, I'm not going to quit the band...only about 5 people in the world might get that joke--And probably not even those five people. Anyway, I hear the show rocked. Maybe I'll go to see this "Purple Grip" sometime. Ithaca, NY- JAM - April 11, 2003 Sue's birthday show for the awesomeness of Sue!! If you don't know Sue, you don't know what you're missing - www.idolsofperversity.com - But...if you don't know Sue you probably don't live within a 100 mile radius of Ithaca. As if Sue's birthday weren't awesome enough, we unveiled our new mascot, Chris. We'll come up with a nickname later. It was funny though -- Perky ceremoniously handed over the "I Fuck on the First Date" shirt, and did one last rendition of Baby Shark (which will be on our upcoming album ;). May Perky rest in pieces-- he shall foverever be in our hearts and minds. Oh, yeah we played a show too. It was good, I think we---oh yeah we played a new song. That went over well, sort of, maybe. And the other bands were good and stuff. I stumbled upon Shoegazi's website once, but I never thought I'd ever play with them. And the legendary John Wayne's Severed Head rocked the party that rocks the body. Ithaca, NY - See Spot - (April 5, 2003) - So there we were...our Jamacain bobsled team was all pumped for its trial run...but wait...no drummer!! That's right, drummer Clayton was late so we didn't go on until all the bands people were really there to see had left. So we had about 10-12 people watching us. It's amazing how we can go from such a good show (see below) to one of our worst. And my amp continued to incessently cut out. That's being fixed though, thank Yaweh. The new See Spot is cool though...first time we had played there. It's very intimate, very sexy, very...Purple Grip. Ithaca, NY - 126 College Ave. - (April 4, 2003) - This show was at the house where 3 out of four members of purple grip live. It was...a house party. I know, so crazy. We haven't played in a while, and we were really sloppy, and my amp kept cutting out. But believe it or not, our living room doesn't have the best acoustics...so you couldn't hear anything anyway. Luckily, a bunch of our friends showed up and packed the place and moshed like we were a real band. I felt so gassy from the experience. I'd say this was one of the top ten shows we've ever played...maybe top 5. Let me put it this way: if you missed it, consider yourself unable to live the rest of your life. Space Dawg played after us...I don't know what hapened with them...I was upstairs...IF ya know what i mean. Although they did make some nice background music. OK, I got nothin' left to say. I'm fresh out of ideas. Good show...great show...i loved....this show. Auburn, NY - Salvation Army Depot - (January 24, 2003) - This show was pretty rockin', even though I almost fell down again. But it was ok. We had a lot of energy, which was our main lacking at the last show, and we didn't screw up as much. Sometimes, I wish, that we never screwed up at all. But then it wouldn't be fun anymore. Damn I'm bored. Something happen. This is boring. I wish a bookcase would fall over or something. I'll try to knock one over with my mind....arrrgggggghhhh...nope, didn't work. Anyways, let's get back to the show. The first band was pretty tight, but they seemed new so they didn't have the crowd support. Although I could be completely wrong. Rocco Dorsey were cool as usual, we've played with them a few times in Ithaca. They're rockabilly. Then AOK played, and they were also good. We've played with them before too. Damn, everything is so good. Except my writing. I write like a five year old when I'm bored. Oh yeah, some babes tried to jump our bones while we were playing, but we were all like, "Chill out babies". Not really. |
