Personality

A very cold man with extreme authoritative views. Gustave doesn’t care what people think of his ideas as long as they follow his orders. His considers his way is the right way and he doesn’t care what he has to do to accomplish it. He treats the soldiers under his command as if they were his brothers and respects those that are prepared to give their lives in battle.

History

Gustave was an ambitious young man, joining the Shinra army, he was quickly promoted to SOLDIER, with dreams of seeing the world. His dreams were shocked to reality when during the second Wutaian war, when he saw many of his friends slaughtered or taken prisoner by enemy soldiers, he developed a deep and spiteful hatred of Wutai and all it’s people. Due to his bravery and valour in combat, the Shinra higher ups, selected him to lead the Shinra armies into battle, awarding him the title of General and the Shinra army at his disposal. Gustave later took matters into his own hands and eliminated Gallent Shinra from his job as president and quickly took control of the company and it’s armies, having the world in his grasp.  He was later betrayed by a trusted friend and was thought to have been killed. Gustave had planned for everything. On the day of his speech, he had anticipated an attack of some sort from his many enemies and created a safety plan. He sent in a cyborg to take his place which was promptly destroyed by Canon. Gustave into hiding in one of his military strongholds and waited for the right time to strike. He has returned to Shinra and reclaimed the title of President and General.
