Reborn

As I was sleeping in my cabin there came such a sound
I could hear them speaking and knew that I had been found
Quickly I decided to take my leave, out the window only to see
I had been surrounded by fire and demons coming after me
The sky grew darker with the rage of all man kind
Arrows and spears covered the moon from behind
The gleam of the steal in the deep moons light
Ravaged my soul with a unearthly blight
Falling to the ground I could hear them cheer
At the sight of my blood that soaked the ground near
As my body grew cold I could feel the heat of their scorn
But I smiled and closed my eyes knowing I would be reborn.
