Punk Downunder Zine - The ultimate punk me up!

The Story
Punk Downunder was born in April 2000 to fill the void of Aussie punk sites on the net. This site aims to promote Australian punk bands and inform the punk community of Australia on all the happenings. In the beginning the site looked worse than the arse of a lavered up hairless gorilla. Matt from Brisbane and Matt from Sydney ran it. Shocking and talentless web design saw Jake enter the fray. He used to run a site called Austpunk but in the spirit of unity joined Punk Downunder and turned us into a superpower. When Jake entered Matt from Sydney suddenly went missing and we haven't had contact with him since...so Matt if you're out there give us a email or something. Cal from Adelaide also joined the team later, I think he's gone missing as well...either that or I am sending him emails to the wrong address.. He and Jake were responsible for that S&M reviews dungeon which stirred up a bucket load of hatemail. From there, Punk Downunder just grew and grew. Staff came and went. We managed to even get a radio interview on 3RRR Melbourne. Next thing, Ben from Sydney came and Clarko who designed the previous kick arse grey and white PDU layout. Heaps of people got hooked including Tracey Newman (who now is a staff member) who now sends us heaps of good stuff in the email. What else? Dave just joined, he's from Perth so we'll have a fair bit of WA stuff on the site so you westerners can get hooked. Staff profiles are below as well as a thanks list for all the people we love.
