Transfiguration: Taught by Professor McGonagall. In this class students learn to transfigurate things such as; a mouse into a goblet or a match into a beetle and much more. The most complex of Transfiguration is becoming an Animagus, which is very hard to do!

Potions: Taught by Professor Severus Snape. Students learn the science of mixing magical ingredients to create potions that can do very amazing things - including making a love potion, this makes a person like you when you let them drink it!

History of Magic: Taught by the only ghost teacher at Hogwarts, Professor Binns. Students learn about the history of creatures and people, quite boring and very dull.

Astronomy: Taught by Professor Sinistra. Students have to go up to the highest tower in the castle and study the stars, at midnight.

Care of Magical Creatures: Taught by Rubeus Hagrid, but it was formally taught by Professor Kettleburn. Students learn how to care for magical creatures - including how to feed them, exercise them, approach them with cation and sometimes even curse them. But it is kinda self-explanatory.

Defence Against the Dark Arts: Taught by Professor Quirrell, Gilderoy Lockhart, Remus Lupin and Bartemius Crouch JR. Some people think that the DADA job is cursed, because each year the teacher that joined up leaves. Students learn how to defend them selves against Dark Arts - curses and all sorts of things, as I might say this would be a very useful class for me!

Divination: Taught by Professor Trelawney. This subject involves crystal balls, tea leaves, palm reading, mind reading and all other sorts of things. It involves much to do with alignment of the planets, according to Trelawney a student must have a sort of 'aura', as the books and cleverness cannot take you far in this magic.

Muggle Studies: This is the only class about Muggles in he school of Hogwarts, but not that many students take this class. But anyways considering that the studies of Muggles doesn’t seem as important than some other things.
