Thank you for staying with us for the 2002 Puck's World Fantasy Football Awards Show! In this segment, we will honor the accomplishments of the owners in the league for great management of their teams. Bob Vila Award The Bob Vila award goes to a very deserving team that was able to turn around their franchise and post the greatest improvement from the previous year. The Nominees are: Rocko Bengals, Benton Harbor Hoodlems, and Rhode Island Ridicule Coulda-Shoulda Award The Coulda-Shoulda award goes to the owner that has to be the most frustrated with his team. This team was usually in a position to win but by either coaching errors or by a surprise career game out of one of their players ended up forcing this team to come out on the losing end of the matchup. The Nominees are: Green Bay, Timbuktu, and Detroit Vince Lombardi Award The Lombardi Award is given to the Coach of the Year. This coach was able to consistantly play the best players over the course of the season with the most options at their disposal. Nominees are: Wisconsin, Rocko, and Rhode Island Jerry Jones Award This award is earned by stringing together the best team through the draft, free agency, and the waiver wire. The Jerry Jones award recognizes the General Manager and Owner of the year. Nominees are: Detroit, Rhode Island, and England. Marathon Award Taking a look back to the draft of three years ago will help determine who wins this award. The Marathon Award is given out to the team that had the best draft in 2000 with regards to how well each player would help the team in years to come. The teams with the best three year plan could be any of the following: Seattle, Rhode Island, and KalamazooWe are going to take a commericial break. When we return, we will wrap up this award show with awards from the 2002 draft. |
