This paper consist of Three Sections. Section A is compulsory. Do any Four questions from
                 Section B and any two questions from Section C

1(a) List four differential amplifier configurations. Which one is not commonly used?
(b) What is a differewntial Amplifier?
(c) What is an OPAMP? What are their applications?
(d) Why negative feedback is desirable in amplifier applications?
(e) What do you understand by input offset current? What are their sources?
(f) Define slew rate in OPAMPs.
(g) Define supply voltage sensitivity.
(h) Draw the circuit for intergator and Differentiator.
(i) Give applications of Monostable and Astable Multivibrators.
(j) Differentiate between LPF, High pass, Band pass and All pass filters.

2. Analyse the circuit of differential and sketch the output waveform for square, triangular, sinusoidal input waveforms.
3. With suitable diagrams explain the basic circuit of A/D Converter.
4. What are timers and Draw the circuit of 555 in Astable mode calculate the frequency of operation.
5. What are advantages of Active filters over passive filters? Draw and explain the circuit of Butterworth low pass filter.
6. (a) Draw and Explain ideal voltage transfer curve.
    (b) Determine the output voltage for the circuit, where A = 2 X 105,Vin1 = 5 uV dc, Vin2 = -7 uV dc,Ri 2m ohms,
        R0 = 75 ohms, Vcc = 15V, Vee = -15V.

7. (a) The base currents in a differential amplifier are 29 uA and 24 uA. Calculate input offset current and input
         bias current.
    (b) In the given figure, calculate the differential voltage gain and input impedence for a β = 150.
            

8. (a) An opamp has a slew rate of 2 V/us. If the peak voltage output = 12 V, what is the power bandwidth ?
    (b) A 100 pF capacitor has a constant charging current of 150 uA. Calculate slew rate.
9. Write short notes on any two of the following:
        (a) I-V convertors
        (b) Instrumentation Amplifers
        (c) Sample and Hold circuit.
