Phi Tau Phi Alumni Association
Greetings from the Phi Tau Phi Alumni Association.  Hope you all had a wonderful holiday season!
If any of you have suggestions for future newsletters or information to post to our website please let us know.  We would love to hear from you!
Phi Tau Phi is Growing!
We are please to report that we have added three new sisters since our last newsletter!  Jill McMillan became a sister last spring bringing our total active sisters to TWO!  Jill was one of three women to receive bids last spring but it didn't turn out to be the right time for the other two.

Phi Tau Phi has always prided itself on avoiding single pledges as our process is so focused on working together so it was a tough decision to allow Jill to finish on her own but things worked out for the best.

Jill now has her own special place in Phi Tau Phi history as one of only 3 women to pledge Phi Tau Phi on their own.  Gwendolyn Haley Harmon was the first in the 1940's (the third pledge class that year) then Georgia Watson in the 1960's.

For the fall semester, Danielle Kornfiend (S'02) decided to study away in Hawaii and Crystal Czaja (S'02) returned from her Disney Internship to help Jill put through two more pledges.

Our newest sisters are Tanya "Thumper" Dickey, a second year Biology major from Monticello, Minnesota and Chilloa "Skittles" Young,  a second year Business major from Phippsburg, Maine.  Congratulations Tanya and Chilloa and welcome to Phi Tau Phi!

The Phi Tau Phi Spring 2005 Rush was held on Saturday, January 22 in Dorward Rec Lounge.  Although there was a lot of interest, we did not get a pledge class for the spring semester.

Please feel free to contact any of the active sisters for more information about what they are doing or to offer your assistance and support.  Their contact information is listed on the
Contact Info page of this site.
Alumni Association Events
The Phi Tau Phi Alumni Association would like to get involved with some charity events that we can do as alumni but also working with the active sisters.  We would like to find a charity that was "close to home" for as many alumni as possible to maximize interest and support.  If you have a particular charity that you are involved in and would like our support or have other suggestions, please let us know so we can help get everyone involved.
