Prizes for the Week of
Sept. 27 - Oct. 1
1. Anyone who is a member of the Zoo Guild is eligible to play.
2. Every time the Quest is offered, it will run for the duration of a week, Monday through Friday, with prizes given out the following weekend (Saturday or Sunday).
3. Each day of Zoo Quest, an item description will be posted on The Zoo Guild Message Board, at a different random time each day, between the hours of 12:01am and 11:59pm NST. The description posted will contain the exact same wording that Neopets uses on the item look-up page.
4. Questers must identify the item, locate it, and turn it in to the_zoo_guild account within 24 hours from the time the item description is posted. This means that Monday's Quest Item may be turned in on Tuesday (for part of the day, anyway) but not on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday.
5. Each guild member may participate in any or all quests during the week, but may only submit ONE item per quest. This is to encourage everyone to send in the correct item!
6. Participants will be notified by neomail that their item has been received. (This might not be right away, since the person running the quest may be sleeping when you are awake!) After the 24 hour search period is over, a neomail will be sent to let each quester know whether they turned in the correct item or not.
7. If the correct item is sent in, a fun prize will be awarded to the quester, as well as points toward the weekly grand prizes.
8. If the item sent in is NOT correct, the quester forfeits any prize and the item sent in becomes the property of the guild. No weekly points will be awarded for incorrect items.
9. Weekly prize points are given out to everyone who completes a quest. The first person to send in the correct item each day will receive 4 points, the second person gets 3 points, and the third person gets 2 points. Everyone else gets 1 point.
10. These points will be added up during the week and will count towards the grand prizes to be given out on the weekend. Only the top three questers overall will win a grand prize, and the grand prizes will change each time a new quest is run. In the event of a tie, the quester with more first place finishes will have the edge.
11. This game is presented by The Zoo Guild for the fun and amusement of our members only. Participation in each quest is voluntary and is not required to be a member of this guild.
