For each load of 100 plushies, you need to buy one stuffing, one kind of packing and anywhere from one to four rolls of cloth (see the requirements chart to determine how many). Also, some of the plushies will require an accessory like rare gems or molded plastic.
How do you get the workers in plushie tycoon to start working?
When you first start up your game, you can buy materials and open your factory, store and warehouse. You can also hire workers, but they won't do any work until 24 hours has passed from the time you first started your game. Also, they will only work from 9am to 5pm in the time zone you choose, or in Neopian Standard Time by default.
I have already manufactured 20 plushies, but I don't know how to get them to my warehouse to ship. Can you help?
The entire load of plushies (all 100 or 200, etc.) has to be finished before it will go to your warehouse. Then, you have to wait for it to be loaded before you can ship it to your store. Then, you wait for the load to sell and when you get your money, you can do it all over again!
I want to ship my plushies, but can't figure out how?
It takes awhile for them to load. The shortest time is about half an hour with a warehouse at level 9. At level 1, it takes about 5 hours. Once you see a checkbox and the word 'loaded' you can click the box and then press the button to ship your plushies to your store.
How do you know when prices are low?
The prices update at the end of every hour, 9am-5pm NST. If you check every hour, you will soon figure out what the higher prices are and what the lower prices are. Low prices can be as low as 600np for rare gems and high prices can be as high as 3000np for rare gems.
How do you take the np out of your shop when you sell your plushies?
Your profits will be transferred automatically from your shop to your 'cash on hand' but only after an entire load sells.
Is there a way to raise the prices in your shop?
The price is fixed, according to which materials you use. Using the best quality materials, making plushies that take rare gems, and making plushies that require more rolls of cloth will all help make your sales price higher, but they also cost more to make.
Does the money you earn go into your regular neopets account?
No, it is only for use in the Plushie Tycoon game.
How do I get people to come to my shop?
You need to buy some ads or make some upgrades in order to get more people into your shop so that you will sell faster. But don't buy too many at first or you won't have enough money for materials!
I want to know how other users can look at my store to buy items from it? When I try to look it up on Neopets, the only store I find is my regular one.
The store in Plushie Tycoon only exists for you in that game...it is not one that other users can see, but by upgrading your shop and purchasing ads, you can increase sales because more (fictional) buyers will be coming to your store!
How long does it take to sell a load of plushies?
Anywhere from 3 days to a week, on average.
Can I speed up the time it takes to load my plushies at the warehouse?
Yes. Each time you upgrade your warehouse a level, it will reduce the time it takes to load your plushies. A level 1 warehouse can take over 5 hours (or overnight) to load, while a level 9 warehouse can load them within an hour. Each level costs 670np rent per week, so it may be expensive to have a level 9 warehouse, but if you are loading that fast, it can be worth it!
Is there any way to restart the game?
Yes! One way is to spend as much money as you can on upgrades or advertisements at your shop, then hire some workers and wait for them to be paid and take your account to a negative amount. Then, just click on any of the other pages and you will go bankrupt and be able to start over! Another way to go bankrupt is to purchase as many materials as you can afford, then start putting loads of 100 into your factory. As soon as your factory makes you upgrade to a new level (and pay extra rent), it will make you bankrupt. This is probably the fastest way to restart the game.
Do you get to keep all the money you make in your real account?
No. The profits you make in the game stay in the game. However, at the end of each round of game play, the players who have played well earn trophies and prizes. Neopets awards a gold trophy, 5 points and 100,000np for those in first place; a silver trophy, 3 points and 50,000np for those who earn second place; and a bronze trophy, 1 point and 25,000np for third place.
