Having taught Criminology for over 15 years, I have specialised in many areas of Forensic Psychology including Criminal Profiling, Stalking, Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy and Psychopathy. |

Although there is overlap with the above i.e. Clinical Forensic Psychology, my clinical expertise can be traced back to my PhD work in Autism and Schizophrenia. Since that time, the areas of study have mushroomed to the point of publishing textbooks and teaching as far away as Hong Kong. |

I have been Director of the FRG since 1998. We have presented conferences each year in collaboration with the BPS, which have sold to capacity. I have studied the X-Files of psychology for some time since a chance meeting with James Randi. Why some people believe in things that are never verified can be puzzling. It can also be very important when people act on false beliefs as in religious fanaticism.
