Granada broadcast 2001

Granada News 2000 From humble beginnings on BBC2's Reportage, I began to appear as a token Psychologist on news programs both for radio and TV. Unlike most of my colleagues, I enjoyed the art of simplifying and de-jargonising psychology for public consumption. I have also been lucky enough to do this through Newspapers and magazines such as Cosmopolitan.
Granada's the Late Debate The world of radio is very different from TV, for the latter you have to remember your suit and make sure your hair is greasy , windswept and so full of static you resemble Ken Dodd on a bad hair day. On BBC World Service radio I was lucky enough to broadcast to around 30 million people - but wearing old shorts and a torn T-shirt
A 'Life Stuff' agony uncle session The BBC asked me to be the Psychologist helping teenagers with their life events, hence the program's title 'Life Stuff'. This ran for almost a year on BBC Knowledge and was popular enough to be repeated the following year.
Granada Breeze 'Well Woman Show' Having appeared on news programs on every channel covering topics as serious as murder and light-hearted as Christmas tree decoration, I was adopted by the hard working people at Granada Breeze and other Sky channels. I am available for the minimum of expenses, at least for as long as I enjoy making psychology interesting to the public.

Here are a few moments I have enjoyed on TV.......
