Bilingual School Psychologist; Prince William County Public
Schools, Virginia. Responsibilities: Responsible for the assessment of students in order to assist in
the measurement and interpretation of student's intellectual, social,
emotional and educational development. Participates in Child Study
comities to provide recommendations to teachers, parents and counselors,
addressing student concerns. Provides
informal counseling to students (individual or group), to assist with
development of appropriate social/emotional skills. Assists
in the development of educational and behavioral management programs
required to alleviate or remedied behaviors. Provide
consultation to teachers and parents to facilitate student educational,
social and emotional growth. Assures
that, as a result of a recommendation for assessment, a comprehensive
report is developed and written in descriptive, non-technical terms that
may be easily understood by parents and teachers. Insure
that recommendations made as a result of the psychological evaluation are
practical, educationally based, and student driven. Participate in
Eligibility Meetings to provide assistance in the identification of those

obtaining shelter and/or housing for the victims. Provide psychological,
medical and financial aids to guarantee the stability of the victims and
