A Brief History Of Phroth
Phroth is a humor magazine published by students at Penn State. This web site is intended mainly as a complement to our printed magazine.
The print edition of Phroth is distributed as a free publication at the Penn State University Park Campus. We currently print only 5000 copies, so you may not have been able to get your own copy of Phroth. That's why we have a web site.
Although there are no set dates for publication, we try to publish an issue twice per semester, with occasional special issues. Before we publish, we advertise on campus and around town with flyers. If you would like to be informed of when we have an issue coming out, and where we will be distributing, please send an email to [email protected].
We currently have no regular subscriptions available. Subscriptions are currently offered only to donating alumni. Please email Pamela Monk for details. If you are at University Park Campus, you may reserve a copy. To reserve your copy, just send us an email. We will inform you of when and where you may pick up your copy.

Get your back issues in PDF format here. If you don't have a PDF viewer, then tough shit. You've been using a computer long enough. If you can't figure it out, then you probably won't get any of the humor in Phroth anyway.
