Photographic Society of Asansol, one of the leading photographic institution to nurture photographic aesthetics at a century old industrial vicinage & within cosmopolitan Indian culture, is located at the city of Burnpur-Asansol, some two hundred k.m. away from the city of Kolkata. The society is enjoying corporate membership of Federation of Indian Photography, Kolkata, the parent body of Indian photography. This year it is going to celebrate its 'Silver Jubilee' of its inception. The society has the credit to organize seven All India Salon & as many as ten nos. workshop / seminar for phto-lovers of Burnpur-Asansol. Its members are performing remarkably at national (Indian) & international level for last twenty years. This year the society is intending to organize its 1st International Salon as part of its 'Silver Jubilee' celebration.
