The motto of the Professional Singles Network (PSN) is "Turning Strangers Into Acquaintances, Then Into Friends." The goal of PSN is to allow singles to meet other quality singles in a non-threatening atmosphere, somewhere between the 'hustle' of the bar scene and the 'restrictiveness' of church singles groups. A 'professional single' is any single who has a positive attitude about their life, their occupation and the value of friendship. The word 'professional' reflects character more than occupation.
PSN sponsors and organizes a monthly calendar of activities, dances, dinners and other events. They also publish a singles newspaper, the Professional Singles Journal. If you enjoy PSN please support our advertisers.
PSN is not a dating service, lonely hearts club or divorce recovery group, nor is PSN affiliated with a church. PSN is a social organization in Wichita, KS which puts a high value on friendship and comfortable, enjoyable activities.
Holidays and Special Days
Most PSN dances are held at American Legion Post 401 at 101 E. 31st St. South (2 blocks west of Broadway). The calender will indicate if a dance is elsewhere. If this list is out of date, the calender will show the current planned events. Admission to dances is $5 except when noted.
MAY 2009
May is Baby Boomer Month. Boomers are those born between 1946 and 1964. Many PSN members are in that group. May is also Physical Fitness Month and going dancing every Sunday night is a great way to help stay fit.

PSN invites all Wichita area singles to attend its activities and dances. You don't have to be a PSN member to attend most activities. There is a Calendar with dates for dances, dinners, Bingo and other activities.
Anyone who is legally single, appreciates the value of friendship, and agrees to abide by the Code of Conduct is welcome to become a member of PSN. The group has been existence since 1991. You can read more about the group's beginnings on the History page. At the present time, many members are between 40 and 65 but all ages are welcome. The American Legion has a cash bar and smoking section - although the majority of current members do not smoke.
