Well, this isn't an update so much as it is an observation I made... apparently, very few people come here for purely recreational purposes; rather, they (very obviously) come here looking for a reference site for their schoolwork. Hey, that's cool. I just realized this when I looked at the site's stats and noticed that EVERYBODY visits in the school months, and that when the summer months come around, the number of visitors plummets by.... well, by alot. This site has been my most successful site ever, and I'm so proud (yay!). This is probably because it is a refference site for school-children, now that I think of it. I mean, NOBODY ever visits ANY of my other sites... (whaa). Well, this is probably because I don't make my websites about super-duper mondo-popular/trendy things. Oh, well. If you're reading this right now, then I love you!

Fear me mortals, for I have brought about the demise of my first poll! That is right; no longer will anybody coming here be able to vote on whether or not the Moon Landings were faked, but they will instead have to decide which of the former Soviet Premiers (if he's listed)is your favourite. I hope everybody likes this poll. Alo newly updated to welcome the poll to this site is... well, the poll site (should have seen that coming...). Yes, now you can finally check what the results were for the moon poll, and what I have to say about them (not that anybody wants to read that, but it is there all the same). There is also a note urging you guys to take the new poll. Seriously, guys: it took way too long for the last poll to collect data enough to be considered a good sample. I hope this poll will be representant of a large sample soon, that we may move on to new polls. Does everybody understand how this works, now?

I have added a whole new feature to the site: a poll. At first, the poll was intended to change once every month, but then I remembered that some months bring this site less traffic than others, and I want the polls to be fair and anything else that this would prevent. So, after I get a decent number of responses, I will then decide to change it, but not before. There will be a seperate section of the site that will hold the results from all past polls, and (maybe) some of my own analysis of the data I have thus gathered. Some of the questions asked will be very controversial, while others may be downright silly. Please answer truthfully to all my polls, and do not answer if you have no opinion on the subject. The current poll asks whether or not the moon landings (yea, all that Apollo jazz) were faked, and you can find it on my main page.

After a while, I noticed that the majority of you were not here to find out about Russia's history, but were instead interested in finding out about Andrei Gubin. Very well, you people have left me no choix. I have decided to fabricate that page about Gubin whether I want to or not. I might have pictures, or it might not. In the event that I do add pictures, they will only be scans from the CDs, which you have already seen before.

A-hahaha! Just as I said, I have added more pictures! You thought that I would have mercy, didn't you? I am sorry, but the super-duper-extra pictures update is quite real. Oh, yea.... I have also changed some stuff that I had merely thought up one night on a caffine rush that I have recently re-read, and found to sound quite dumb. I also added some more info and ugly pictures to the WWII section, in case you care at all. By-the-way, you non-existant people are allowed to send me things/info to post on my site... it would make me very happy. Do it for that, if nothing else.

Ahh, I think it is about time to get up off of my lazy butt and start updating some more. The only problem with this plan would be... I do not know what else to add. I could add more pictures, I suppose, but this is not news to my educated crowd. I know my main page promises a new section any day now on modern Russia, but... this is something I would have to actually put some thought into. Too, while it is perfectly safe to write controversial views on what happened fifty years ago, people may skin me for everything I have to say pertaining to Russia today. Or maybe not, maybe you people are good sports; I would not know. I could also add a section that goes into more... err... 'detail' about what Russia was doing in the Napoleonic era, but that would be a bit uncalled for. Besides, it would only be an excuse to post more Napoleon stuff, and this site doesn't need that. So, in short, untill everything is smoothed out... PICTURES IT IS! NYAHAHAAAAAA!

WHAAAAAAAA! I was just too sad to do anything today, because poor old Mir went down! Yes, I do realise that it was necissary, but the world just will not be the same without her. What we need now is a better, maybe bigger Russian space station, NYAHA! Something that will completely dwarf the ISS! Oh, speaking of that, I suppose on a tiny bit of a positive note, with Mir out of the picture, now there can be more financial concentration on the ISS... just a thought.

Once again I have included a picture for my site's illiterate audience to be amused with. I am increasingly aware that it sounds a bit too conversational, as do these updates, but I was bored. Besides the informality factor it tends to induce, it would certainly make easy reading for my semi-illiterate audience, would it not?

Well, let me recall what mundane thing I have done with the place. For starters, I have transformed all of the dashes in the listed dates on this page in to dots, as I feel it looks better. I also changed the dates to the European system. It is fitting. Oh, yes, I really do hold that much power.
