  • Pronica Foundation Classes
  • This is a collection of classes that we created when we were developing our Lighthouse Personal Finance program. When we were developing our program we aimed to mirror the veracity of Java classes, thus the class names and member functions are similar to those of Java classes. We also tried to make the windowing kit similar to the Java style. For example you can create a button and add it to a frame or to the Application class just as you would do that in Java. There are paint() and repaint() member function in addition to actionPerformed() which are called whenever painting of the screen is needed or an action is required. We are trying to make these classes platform independent. Our vision is write once, compile once for every platform and run it. So far we have been successful in making this work for MSDOS and Microsoft Windows. Linux will come soon. The current version of classes is free to download and use for both commercial and personal use.
