• Simple Electronic Drawing Applet

This is an electronic design and analysis program written in Java AWT package. It can draw simple components and connect them. Then a simple circuit analysis can be initiated and the result from this analysis displayed in a frame. The applet was developed throughout year 2000 and at the beginning of January 2001 the development stopped. I have decided to halt all development on this project in favor of Electronic Design Applet, which includes schematic design, analysis components.

• Electronic Schematic 0.1

This is part of the Electronic Design Applet and is written to use JFC and Swing. The development of this project started in January 2001. This applet is a complete redesign of the above mentioned applet. It incorporates new technologies and has been built to eliminate the mistakes made in the previous version. Moreover, new requirements were discovered which I am intending to include in this applet, and hopefully will be more useful to its users.


Feature changes:

• A very important difference is the intent of adding the functionality of saving and loading the files, which was not available in the previous version (although the menu has those displayed). In order for the applet to load a drawing or save it on your hard drive you have to explicitly allow it. This will happen before the start of the application, where a window will show up on your browser requesting your permission to access your computer’s resources.
